Aside your main question, could you please share the problem encountered
when you tried replication?
Thx, Radu

To migrate from Nuxeo 5.2.0 to 5.3.0 I follow the following steps:
1. Considering I have not any document, just the workspaces structure,
user, groups, acls and my own plugin
2. Back up nuxeo 5.2.0 database and restore in new one.
3. Download Nuxeo 5.3.0 and start it as it comes by default, it start
well and without errors
4. Delete "/path/server/default/data" and configure
default-repository-config.xml, sql.properties,
default-repository-ds.xml, unified-nuxeo-ds.xml and nxtags-ds.xml
pointing to the restored database of Nuxeo 5.2.0 (step 2)
4. After restart Nuxeo 5.3.0 the additional tables were created required
by this version as well as the "/path/server/default/data" and the log
showed no errors
5. After you log on as administrator and as another user everything
works fine as well as the structure of workspaces and the changes made
by my plugin.
my questions are:
Could this be a good practice for migration?
This could have problems on some components for the future?
I also tried to export/import according to
http://doc.nuxeo.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/ReplicateNuxeoRepository, but it
sent some errors and in the "conten" table generated there was more
content that was in the 5.2.0, therefore chose another option.
Thks. in advanced
