Hello,
I reopen this thread as this issue is still NOT resolved.
I have tried but did not find a way to configure the nuxeo application
as the default web context in jboss to have http://localhost:8080/
instead of http://localhost:8080/nuxeo/.
I have read the documentation about virtual hosts but I still can't see
how can I remove the "/nuxeo/" part after the domain.
Could anybody achieve that ? Thank you for your answers.
Bruno.

Could anyone answer me regarding this question :
We would like to change the default "nuxeo" in the url
(http://localhost:8080/nuxeo) by our own, for instance
http//localhost:8080/myapp.
I have read in a past post that it is not fully possible at the
moment to change the /nuxeo/ default path as it is still hardcoded
in a few places (themes for instance).
Is this likely to be resolved anytime soon ? If not, would it be
feasible to change that in the sources ourselves ?
I am not from Nuxeo, so have no authority, but I would have thought
that this feature is not a priority for them and so unlikely to be
implemented any-time soon.
You could change the original source, build and run that. I would have
misgivings about that personally as maintenance with keeping up to
date with 'official' Nuxeo updates/changes would be a headache I
wouldn't want.
Personally, I would prefer the out-of-the-box application to run as
the default web context (i.e. http://localhost:8080/) as I should
imagine that all (serious) installations would be running it under its
own domain, e.g. http://nuxeo.mycompany.com with Apache as a proxy.
(This would not hinder developers either.)
Regards,
Sean
