In our projects, when we have such case we usually add tab named
"search" to folder, contains such documents. This is very useful
especially in case when documents from some custom type
are containing only from special parent folder. When the user selects
this special tab - it opens the screen form with search fields.
The other approach is to place an action of category USER_SERVICES,
which will be displayed on the upper right corner of the screen.
Clicking on it you can open your custom page, which can have different
tabs for every custom search of documents. In your case - you can create
a page (similar to document_view) containing of two tabs - "Contract"
and "Invoice", etc... Every tab can contain a custom page with fields
and controls designed for special filter of the associated document
type. Every form (page) from this tab can be handled from dedicated
custom bean or several beans, which can construct and execute query.
A complete example is organization of the User/Group UI.

Hi all,
I would like to create several custom search screens in Nuxeo. We have some
document types, for example contract and invoice document type, for each of
them, we want to have an independent screen where we can select some filters
(associated to custom document type attributes) and create and execute a NXDQL
query with them.
Does someone know the way to do it?
