Have examined the HTTP Headers using WireShark and the Pragma: no-cache
and Cache-control: no-cache are sent for a non SSL file download and so
I assume they are also sent for an SSL file download.
In addition have found these additional KB articles:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/815313/
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/812935/
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323308/
And for me, adding the BypassSSLNoCacheCheck Registry Value as in
KB323308 works for me.

Sean

Hi,
I've upgraded a server from 5.3.0 to 5.3.1.
All works fine apart from downloading Office files over SSL in IE.
These error with a dialog box:
Internet Explorer cannot download file from server.
Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The
requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try
again later.
Microsoft Knowledge Base # 316431 seems to be relevant
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316431), stating that the problem is
due to the presence of one or both of the following HTTP headers:
Pragma: no-cache
Cache-control: no-cache,max-age=0,must-revalidate
The Knowledge Base also says this is by design and so not an IE issue.
The only change is the upgrade of Nuxeo (no Apache changes) and so
posting my problem here. Anyone seen this? Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks and regards,
Sean
