I traced the nuxeo java code, and found our config/nuxeo.properies is missing one property for liveedit org.nuxeo.ecm.platform.liveedit.config
Set this property to "server" will enable liveedit. The button for livedit will be display in summary tab. And you have to do following things for your client side: install firefox plugin and openoffice pluin downloaded from http://www.nuxeo.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Downloads set up fire fox plugin following http://www.nuxeo.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/LiveEditFirefoxSetup Username/Password is your laptop account info, working directory must be ended with "/" I sent this mail to record this fix Thanks !
