I believe your nuxeo.conf file is incorrect.
It should not contain:
  nuxeo.template=postgresql
but:
  nuxeo.templates=default,postgresql

We'll fix the doc.

Can you also paste the content of the file:
  $TOMCAT/nxserver/config/default-repository-config.xml
after having tried once to start the server.
