Users will be filing hundreds of documents a day from within Word. They are used to filing from within Word via File, Save As to their old repository. They have hundreds of folders below each workspace (down a couple of levels). In their old system, they could start typing the folder name to get close to the correct folder.
They cannot do that now when connected to Nuxeo. I connected to Nuxeo by typing in http://mcnux/nuxeo (server/nuxeo) from the File Open dialog in Word and Word does attach to the document source but the view comes up unordered. NOT VERY USEABLE. I am getting fairly frustrated as we were told that Nuxeo could be accessed from within Word and Excel directly - the users would NOT have to save it to a temporary network folder and then drag the documents across to a browser. I am afraid that this installlation of Nuxeo is going to go over like a lead balloon - to the user, interface is everything. If they have to do extra steps for every document they file during a day (and each one will probably file from 25 to 100 each), they will NOT be happy.
