Hi, Well, it's not clear to me what is your question, but I can give a try :)
First of all, you talk about "community version" of Nuxeo : there are several distributions of Nuxeo platform (DM, DAM, CMF ...), but they are all community versions, there is no Enterprise/Closed source version. About OpenOffice integration, we use OpenOffice server side as a transformation engine. This integration is done via JodConverter ( http://code.google.com/p/jodconverter/), and it allows to have PDF and HTML transformation for most of the common office file format. We also have a LiveEdit browser extension that allow to edit content in OpenOffice directly via the browser and save back in Nuxeo from OpenOffice client. Does that answer your question ???
