Hi, You probably installed an old version of the plugin and that's why you are redirected to this upgrade page that asks you to uninstall your plugin and install the new one. => I would be interested in knowing from where you got this version
Looks to me like the link on the login page of Nuxeo is ok : => links sends to http://www.nuxeo.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Downloads#HDesktopIntegration?utm_source=dm&utm_medium=login-page&utm_campaign=products => that point to https://updates.nuxeo.org/desktop-integration/drag-drop/firefox/nuxeo-dragdrop-ff-extension.xpi => that is version 0.9.8 (i.e; the last version that is compatible with Firefox up to 3.6.x). You should probably : - check your plugin version - uninstall it from the Tools/Additional Modules + restart FF - install the version pointed by the login page : https://updates.nuxeo.org/desktop-integration/drag-drop/firefox/nuxeo-dragdrop-ff-extension.xpi Tiry On 14 October 2010 09:57, Joseph John <[email protected]> wrote: > Yes , I am able to get the link > But from the link the addon which is displayed is not compatible with > the browser Firefox 3.5.9 > Is there any way we can make the link displayed after taking firefox > browser version into account > thanks > > > On Thu, Oct 14, 2010 at 11:04 AM, Thierry Delprat <[email protected]> > wrote: > > By the way, this should now be fixed. > > > > On 13 October 2010 15:07, Thierry Delprat <[email protected]> wrote: > >> > >> Hi, > >> This is the update URL for the D&D plugins. > >> One of our server was down in the last days and it looks like there is a > >> error in the VH config on our side. > >> I'll check that with our admin, it should be fixed soon. > >> . > >> Anyway it should not be a problem for using the plugin, just by pass the > >> update screen until we fix our apache config. > >> Thx for the heads up. > >> Tiry > >> > >> On 13 October 2010 13:05, Joseph John <[email protected]> wrote: > >>> > >>> Hi > >>> I have installed firefox addons for nuxeo (I am using firefox 3.5.9 ) > >>> on Ubuntu > >>> Now each time when I start my firefox it tries to open a page in the > >>> location > >>> " > https://updates.nuxeo.com/browser/firefox/switch-to-nuxeo-dragdrop-ff-extension.html > " > >>> and throws me this error > >>> Not Found > >>> > >>> The requested URL > >>> /browser/firefox/switch-to-nuxeo-dragdrop-ff-extension.html was not > >>> found on this server. > >>> Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) PHP/5.2.6-1+lenny9 with Suhosin-Patch > >>> mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8g Server at updates.nuxeo.com Port 443 > >>> > >>> I checked by FireFox home page and it does not have any url stored.I > >>> am wondering why my browser is looking for this link and why the link > >>> shows file not found error > >>> -- > >>> Thanks > >>> Joseph John > >>> http://www.oss101.com/ > >>> _______________________________________________ > >>> ECM mailing list > >>> [email protected] > >>> http://lists.nuxeo.com/mailman/listinfo/ecm > >>> To unsubscribe, go to http://lists.nuxeo.com/mailman/options/ecm > >> > > > > > > > > -- > Thanks > Joseph John > http://www.oss101.com/ > _______________________________________________ > ECM mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.nuxeo.com/mailman/listinfo/ecm > To unsubscribe, go to http://lists.nuxeo.com/mailman/options/ecm >
