It's possible by overloading the corresponding URL codec. Cf http://explorer.nuxeo.org/nuxeo/site/distribution/current/vi ewComponent/org.nuxeo.ecm.platform.url.service.DocumentViewC odecService.contrib for the standard contribution (look at the XML, the documentation site currently has a bug if the same file has several contributions to the same extension point). You will have to subclass DocumentIdCodec with the behavior you need.
