I have dug into this a little more and I think I am close. The command
extension point runs a test by executing the binary through a shell. It looks
like it should be running "/bin/sh -c ffmpeg -i {#inFilePath} 2>&1".
Now the question. Where does "inFilePath" get set for the test? If you run this
command without an input it returns a status code of 1, which Nuxeo treats as a
failure. How does anyone have ffmpeg working if this is the case?
I was slightly wrong on the linux version. RedHat EL6, ffmpeg 0.6.3 (now), and
DM 5.4.1.
