Hello Fernando, We are currently changing the way themes are working, to fit new web needs and standards. For now, we are still using the old xml file (theme-galaxy.xml), even if we have prepared theme banks.
The reason why you can't see your changings is that the file you changed is not used yet. The better way for you in this transition time is using the Branding section of Nuxeo Studio to customize your theme. You will be able to change colors, logo, and customize the login page too.
