Nuxeo Birt Report integration module enables you to design and run complex and complete reports on data stored in the Nuxeo repository. That means it is not designed to leverage data that is stored in an excel file that is stored in the repository. But what you could do is manage your tickets/steps/tasks etc ... as content object, as Nuxeo is fully designed to implement such "objets". Then, if your tasks etc ... (ie the rows of your excel file) are Nuxeo data, you'll be able to better control them and do advanced reporting on it.
