I've upgraded a client computer to Windows 7 SP1 (from XP)
to be able to map a drive letter onto Nuxeo DM 5.4.2, via
WebDAV.
It worked, although slowly. I followed the advice regarding
proxy connections from another forum post, and this has sped
it up nicely.
However, I can't save directly onto the drive from any
application. Browsing and file/folder actions available from
Windows Explorer are fine, it only doesn't work from
applications. I've tried saving files from MS Office 2003
and Acrobat, to no avail.
Looking at the server.log, the only warning related to an
attempted save from Word is:
ERROR
[org.nuxeo.ecm.core.storage.sql.coremodel.BinaryTextListener
]
Error during MSOffice2Text conversion
org.nuxeo.ecm.core.convert.api.ConversionException: Error
during MSOffice2Text conversion
at
org.nuxeo.ecm.core.convert.plugins.text.extractors.MSOffice2
TextConverter.conver
t(MSOffice2TextConverter.java:60)
...
There are no errors in console.log, stderr.log and
nuxeoctl.log.
I've searched the forums and Google, and can't find anyone
reporting this problem, even the DM 5.4.2 documentation
pages state that once the drive map is established, it's
possible to save files to that drive.
The DM is running on FreeBSD 8.2, with the latest Jaxb
installed (the one on Open|FreeBSD is old and unsupported).
