(sorry,  replied previous email against a wrong subject)

Jazib,

Based on recent experiences of friends.

  - If you apply with your wife and you have completed NSEER registration.
You will most likely get revalidated within USA from St. Louis .  One of my
friend
got his VISA revalidated last  week.

  - Should you apply alone , you will more likely get refused.  3 of my
friends got refused but they did it last yr before call-in NSEER
registration

One recent theory is ,  USA VISA revalidations were refused because of NSEER
registration.not done at that time. My attorney told me that for Pakistanis
, visa
revalidation is being done at case by case basis.

  -  If you want to apply for new VISA from Toronto , its taking 3 weeks.
First day when you show up  they will give you some number and ask you to
come back when your IBIS
inspection is completed.  (two of my friends did it from Toronto in 3 weeks
, so this info is
reliable).

   - If you apply from Pakistan , here are some examples that came to our
knowledge

              - One guy it took him 7 months (officer told him your WAC# is
not found ??)
              - Two friends:  took them 4 months
              - One collegue : took  2 days.

I talked to the guy in my office who did his revalidation from Islamabad
in 2 days (after 1st interview) , he said because he was a NSEER registrant
thats why it worked out for him fairly quick. But thats not true , because
one of my friend's--friend wasted 4 months in Pakistan
for getting his H1 stamp renewed though he was also a NSEER registration.

Just passing you the info I have

Thanks
Khurram Khani
