Khurram, If the CPT is being taken in either Fall or Spring, the student needs to maintain full time status . Thus he would need to register for 9 units ( assume this is full time requirement for MS ) . Summers is no such requirement . However i will suggest to contact the office of international students at your school to get a sure answer . You never know these days.
