Around six months agao we have started a yahoogroup opf Pakistani Professionals in MI ( including bordring cities of Canada). the group is

we have been exchanginginfo about jobs, community activities and special group gatherings ( like NEDians) with just one e-mail address for all [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The group has around 50 members now ( and 90% are NEDians as you know that is the profile of 90% Pakistani professionals in MI anyway...) and is moderated so junk e-mails and messages cannot be posted only relkevant and useful info
I will send invitation for group membership to Khurram Siraj and anyone else who is in MI and fulfils the definition.. pls e-mail me your addresses with NED batches or other info.. at [EMAIL PROTECTED].
All ideas to expand the memebership of the group are welcome

"Michigan Pakistanis" is formed to bring Pakistani professionals (engineers, technologists and scientists) in Greater Detroit area and all over Michigan on one plateform providing a single e-mail address to Communicate, get connected and channelize ideas with our own people.
There has long been felt the need for an ACTIVE point of contact for all Michigan Pakistani Professionals and this group God willing will provide that all needed connection among us. Pakistani professionals residing in CANADIAN bordering cities are also welcome to be part of the effort.
We will exchange information on Job oppurtunities available, Professional talent pool within the community, Community events, Ideas, Community buliding initiatives and above all how collectively we can help individuals and instititutions here in US and back home in our motherland.
