Imperial College UCL (University College London) Birbeck Kings College
These are all University of London schools and so at the end of the program, the degree awarded is from the University of London.
Outside London,
University of Bristol is great and so is UMIST (Univ of Manchester Inst. of Science and Tech)
If you want to go towards management, the best schools are as follows:
Warwick Business School ( Univ of Warwick) City University London London Business School London School of Economics and Political Science. Said Business School
The business schools are all expensive. a typical MBA from a worthwhile university is about 25,000 pounds and add another 10 for expenses (accom, living, food)
You can work upto 20 hours a week on a student visa and the typical pay is about 7 pounds an hour
With the current surge in the British pound, UK may not be the best destination for undergrads but rest assured a good degree gets a good job as well.
I personally know a student of Warwick having done his MBA and is now on a salary of 50K+car+health in karachi. Not bad, right?
