NED UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY.
UNDER
FOREIGN FACULTY HIRING PROGRAM OF HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSION, GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN.
Applications are invited for a position of Professor on contract in each of the following fields of specialization of Engineering and Architecture.
1. Geotechnical Engineering
2. Engineering Management/Construction Management.
3. Engineering Surveying.
4. Areas of Wastewater Engineering and Environmental Modeling.
5. Drilling, Production and Reservoir Engineering.
6. Architectural Design.
7. Computer Science with engineering background.
8. Solid Mechanics and Design.
9. Manufacturing Systems/Automation and Robotics Simulation & Modeling.
10. Spinning with adequate industrial experience.
11. Weaving with adequate industrial experience.
12. Power Systems, and Control Systems
13. Image Processing, MEMS are the desired Areas.
14. Fault Tolerant Computer Architecture, Parallel Processing.
15. Bio-Engineering
16. Medical Engineering.
The prospective applicants may be foreign nationals but preferably of Pakistani origin with minimum of 5-years post doctorate experience in any reputable academic and/or research and development institution. Faculty members hired under this program would be expected to have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
The duration of the contract would be at least one year, but extendable up to five years. Foreign Faculty Professors would be expected to impart a modern and progressive outlook to research � based academic programs, and would set norms of international academic standards. They would also be required to supervise graduate level research and teach graduate level courses in their respective academic disciplines.
Successful applicants may expect monthly remuneration between US $ 1300 and US $ 4300 in equivalent Pak Rupees depending upon their experience, in addition to one round trip air-ticket (up to Pak Rupees 75,000) per year.
