AGENDA FOR EARTH
On Earth Summit '96 we want to present an Agenda For Earth in
which young people from all over the world demand concrete
actions to save Earth on behalf of world's youth.
The Better World depends on each of us | Therefore we invite
young people from all parts of the world to inform us of their
visions, ideas and concrete actions to save Earth to make the
world a better place. Upper Austria, as initiator of Youth
For Earth, is conducting an informal research poll to find out
what the world's youth actually demand e.g. from international
organizations or governments to save Earth for future
generations.
Entries received by the 30 March 1996 deadline will be
discussed by Youth For Earth and are basis for creating a
draftpaper of the Agenda For Earth which will be then
discussed worldwide on internet.
If you are under age of 27, please take time to answer
following questions, each not more than 50 words:
What are your visions and ideas of a sustainable world ?
1. What do you consider as the most threatening global
environmental problems ? Why? Which actions have to be
demanded in the Agenda For Earth ?
2. What do you consider as the most threatening continental
environmental problems ? Why ? Which actions have to be
demanded in the Agenda For Earth ?
3. What do you consider as the most threatening national
environmental problems ? Why ? Which actions have to be
demanded in the Agenda For Earth ?
4. What do you consider as the most threatening environmental
problems in your region ? Why ? Which actions have to be
demanded in the Agenda For Earth ?
5. What do you consider as the most threatening environmental
problems in your community ? Why ? Which actions have to
be demanded in the Agenda For Earth ?
Please list also three actions you can do or have been doing
to save the Earth for future generations.
Thank you very much for your co-operation |
