Hi! Yet another intro. My name is Lori Tomlinson, and I'm a PhD student at Bowling Green State University (Ohio) in American Culture Studies. I first approached ecofeminism from an animal rights standpoint. Carol Adams's _The Sexual Politics of Meat_ changed my life--literally. Reading her book was one of the final "straws," encouraging me to go beyond vegetarianism (not eating meat) to veganism (no meat, dairy, eggs, nothing--not even eating any non-meat products that contain whey, lactose, etc.). Thus far, it seems that discussions on the list have focussed on environmental and spirituality issues. Anyone out there interested in the exploitation of animals (or should I say, bringing a stop to the exploitation of animals)? Bye for now. Lori
