POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW
The Center for Conservation Biology at Stanford University
seeks a post-doctoral fellow to work with the Nevada
Biodiversity Initiative on resource management issues
beginning in fall 1995.
Responsibilities include research on conservation biology
in Nevada, interfacing with other universities and federal
and state agencies, and coordinating field projects.
Requirements include a PhD in applied ecology or related
field and strong writing abilities; previous field experience
inthe western US is strongly preferred. While the taxonomic
focus of the candidate's research is open, a focus on
plants, invertebrates, or aquatic organisms is preferred.
