Mary, while your USGS office may have little to do with EPA, this is not
necessarily so about all offices. My husband works for the UGS Water
Resources Divison here in Madison. One of his many projects is working with
the EPA to establish testwells. He also has begun a project for the
Department of Defense. This does not mean that these government agencies
communicate by any means but the Madison Water Resource office has been
working hard to build bridges.
