So what do we do. keeep women locked up. where in the comfort of their
homes wheere it has been proven that most of the sexual, violent and other
danger lurks. it is true only in so far as we make it so. we can fight
this if we say we will not tolerate male violence. we must empower
ourselves and other women to be able to say no.

if these men are that bad - why is that. they should be put down. that's
what we do to uncontrollable dogs. men can control themselves if they
believe they can. some men have been brought up with the idea that to rape
a woman is a manly thing to do. with ideas like this it is little wonder
they rape. the woman who is most responsible for the rape if we must make
a woman responsible is not the girl who is raped but the boys mother.

is this saying that women's sexuality is what causes rape. this is playing
right into the rapists hands. what about the 70 yr old woman who is raped
by a house breaker? this happens quite a lot. are you telling me she is
too sexy?

for men? which men? i do not believe this and neither would a lot of men
i know. the men who rape are a minority. the above idea is sexist in the
extreme and likely to cause separtatism in the women who believe it. it is
also a dangerous idea for the boys who might read it who are in the process
of identity.

There are psychological reasons why she won't leave. these can be very
complex but often involve - the idea that she is inferior and deserves to
be beaten (from her family and society) financial dependence, a real love
for the offender and a belief that he will change, extremely low self
esteem, depression leading to learned helplessness, etc.
