Having just signed on to the group I hope the furor surrounding 'jerk' is not the primary subject matter of the group. I teach a course on 'Culture and Nature' at Simon Fraser and feminist/ecofeminist perspectives are an important part of the exercise. I hope to acquire some source material ideas, some innovative pedagogy and to have my students look in on the on-going debates. Hope I'm in the right place.
