Have you looked into New York University's School of Education, Master's
Degree in Environmental Conservation Education? It is within the
Culture and Communications dept, but the best part about this
program is that it provides a base of classes in environmental
philosophy and then allows you to structure the way in which you
would like to channel these philosophies.
I am beyond coursework there now, but the people i took classes
with were interested in "traditional" teaching, writing, doing
field science, local, national and int'l ngo and gov't work...you
name it, i think we had someone interested in doing it from
an environmental standpoint.
yes, i did have a good experience there...:)
i'm posting this to the list in case anyone else is interested, as
i've seen a few requests lately about grad school inquiries.
There are drawbacks to NYU, and i'd be happy to answer any questions
i can...or you can send email to one of the advisors for the
program, millard clements ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). he is the
"techie" while the other advisor is a luddite. also a nice combination
of perspectives. :)
