   15th Annual Conference

   Inner Ecology/Outer Ecology

   November 10-12, 1995
   Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Virginia
   (near Washington, D.C.'s National Airport)

The "Inner Ecology/Outer Ecology" conference will explore ways to
restore our relationship with the natural world. For three days,
     psychologists, environmentalists, scientists, spiritual teachers,
social activists, scholars, poets, and musicians will meet and share
their approaches to creating a sustainable life for the earth and
all of her creatures. Through workshops, keynote presentations,
performances, and informal networking sessions, we will investigate
the relationship between inner and outer landscapes, between
ecological awareness and psychological healing, and between the
individual spiritual journey and its earthly context. Come join us
in exploring the realm where soul and Earth are one.

Hello,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am a new
subscriber to ECOFEM, my name is Emira and I am a third year student at
Simon Fraser University in Vancouver BC.

I am currently working on creating a local web page, which will be put
onto the world wide web. This web site is aimed at providing internet
accessibility to local under-represented groups. I am particularly
interested in representing local community women's groups. I realize that
many of you are not located in my area, but I am interested in any
comments you may have in regards to whether or not this technology can be
made accessible to women in order to create another means of networking
to create a closer community in real life.

Thank you and I look forward to contributing to this newsgroup in the future.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my questions concerning ecofeminism for
my seminar. The seminar was a hit, everyone was very interested (except for
one or two men who were a bit offended). Most people hadn't even heard of
ecofeminism before, let alone the basic philosophies behind it. It went so
well, in fact, that several professors and students want to start an ecofem
reading group next semester! Yeah! Once again, thank you all.
