                       CALL FOR PAPERS

Northern Arizona University is hosting the annual Graduate
Student Interdisciplinary Symposium on Feb. 9-10, 1995 in
Flagstaff, Arizona.  This year's Symposium theme is:

       Tradition and Transition into the 21st Century

Graduate students from all disciplines are encouraged to
submit abstracts which should be limited to no more than 250
words.  The focus of the papers should address either how
past practices, events, or knowledge affects the movement of
your particular topic of interest into the next century or
what are the changes you foresee in your area of interest
post-millennium.

Abstracts should be postmarked by Dec. 15, 1996.

The Symposium also hosts a graduate papers contest.  To be
considered for the contest manuscripts should not exceed 30
pages.  Manuscripts should have a removable cover page which
lists title, author's name and author's discipline.  These
will be reviewed by a panel of four judges and the winners
will be announced at the Symposium.

Submission of manuscripts for Competition is due January 8,
1996.
