Where I live in Ohio, USA, the cows are not allowed to graze. I work for a newspaper
in the rural community
and have had the opportunity to interview several dairy farmers. Because land here is
$8,000 an acre, they feel
their return is better to grow the grain and then feed the cows instead of letting
them graze.
