KEEP THE IDEAS ALIVE...
"WOMEN'S RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS: OLD PROBLEMS, NEW CHALLENGES..."
Submissions for an anthology pertaining to women's rights are now
being accepted. We welcome any written material: poetry, short stories,
personal reflections, academic papers as well as photos which pertain to
women's rights. Topics may include: reproductive technology and family
planning, women adn the environment, women and politics, the 4th UN
conference on women in Beijing, women and war..., to name a few.
The creation of a book will be a useful means of keeping the
ideas and discussions about women's rights alive. The compilation of
written work is part of the follow-up to the symposium. Copies of the
video from the symposium can be sent to your local committee or
interested students if you would like them. Written material used as
part of your course requirements is welcomed.
