Hello,
I'd like to talk to some people, either privately or on the list about
ecofeminism
and liberation theory. Specifically the following
a) 'nature' as a discourse permeating multiple oppressions
b) links between different lines of oppression
c) the role of occularcentrism in multiple oppressions
d) the concept of the 'master' identity as ventured by Plumwood, Haraway &
Hartsock.
e) the role that ecofeminism plays and can play in highlighting a 'web of
oppression'.
f) the practical implications of the above, i.e the potential for 'alliance
politics'
as advanced by many writers.
Failing time for conversation, any references would be highly appreciated.
