Subject: Re: infiltration of women's groups

Hello!
In response to my query on infiltration in women's groups, Irene Stuber
wrote her observations on NOW and asked...

>Laura, would you send me a copy of the Food and Water Journal article?
>Please send to Irene Stuber, PO Box 6185, Hot Springs, AR 71091? It may be
>a great background piece for Catt's Claws.

>Thank you

Well, I called Food & Water and asked if they could send Irene a copy.
The woman I spoke with said, "No problem -- and go ahead and post our
800 number to your discussion list with your reference." So....

     Food & Water, Inc 800/EAT-SAFE
     R.R. 1, Box 68D 802/563-3300
     Walden, Vermont 05873 802/563-3310

The article I mentioned in my post, 'The Illusion of Public Relations',
(Food&Water Journal, Winter 1996) describes a strategy used by PR firms
(with clients like Monsanto, Dupont, Philip Morris) to undermine
enviromental and food safety movements. I was just wondering if there's
any *organized* infiltration in feminist groups. If this stuff is going
on, there must be some aspects of it worth discussing on the net so that
we can be more aware of it. That's all.
