[EMAIL PROTECTED] ------- Forwarded Message Follows ------- The Glen Canyon Environmental Studies' will be updating its home page with preliminary data from the Bureau of Reclamation's just completed experimental beach/habitat building flood in Grand Canyon. Currently results of aerial videography of sandbars before and during the flood, and some sediment scour and deposition data are posted. More on native fish, vegetation, sandbar volumes, campsite carrying capacity, critical habitats for neotropical migrants and snails, and sediment transport will be posted as researchers come off the water. Thus far, results look very good for sediment redeposition (the USGS will be digging out some gear from a sandbar which got more than 3 meters of deposition).
