>I would rally appreciate any information, reading material to reccomend or >just personal comments on the subjects (sidetrack: What are masc. and fem. >values of wilderness? Any thoughts?) Thankyou if you have read this far! Rachel, In the past I had felt disconnected with Mother Earth just as I was disconnected with my own nature. Now as I learn, accept and realize the connection I have with Earth the more understanding and respect I have for my being. In turn, I don't hide my being. I want to let her out and let her take over just as I connect with the wildness in Mother Nature. My 'adventure' experiences encouraged and helped me to make this connection of oneness with Earth. Some books that may be of interest: "Passionate Quests" by Sonia Melchett (about 5 women solo travellers) "Tracks" by Robyn Davidson (Australian woman traveled solo in outback with camels) "An Unspoken Hunger" by Terry Tempest Williams "Sisters of the Earth" edited by Lorraine Anderson (Anthology about woman's connection to nature) "Maiden Voyage" by Tania Aebi (youngest woman to sail around the world solo) Hope this helps you. I'm very interested in this topic so any info you come up with please pass along. Also, does anyone know of organizations that sponser outdoor trips with an ecofeminist/experiential learning philosophy? Nancy [EMAIL PROTECTED]
