In response to a post a while back where someone was unapologetic about crushing snails found in his/her garden: a true ecofeminist would put the snails (or slugs) in a container (reusing it), take them in to the kitchen, and, in a humane fashion, fry them up in olive oil and garlic (although I guess butter's more ok now) and then use the shells (if snails) for useful things.
