i'm looking for information on ecofeminist movements within the united
states mobilizing around issues related to the clean air, clean water and
endangered species acts. if anyone has ANY information (names of
movements, people, environmental harm sites, etc) please relay them to me
if you have the time.
by the way, if anyone would like to discuss merchant's new book,
'earthcare: women and the environment,' i just finished it and found it a
bit too discriptive. also, her coverage of current movements in the united
states was all but current. the book was published this year and the
latest movement noted in the book was Mothers of East Los Angeles, in the
late eighties.
