Dear Lynn: I have been trying to discover the philosophical basis for
eco-feminism. I've wondered whether the basis lies in process philosophy,
liberation theology , feminist writers , like Carol Christ, or others. I
believe this will be an important part of your paper. Where is your
philosphical basis for doing what you are doing" this must be exposed, so
that your survey will be authentically integrated.
What books, periodicals, would you suggest as a basis for preparing
ourselves to read your paper , so that we can better understand it, when you
publish if for us?
What specific research has been performed to indicate that eco-feminism is
an effective factor in determining the basis from which it springs, and what
catalytic elemnts have synergized the results of these research findings to
not only encapsulate the results, but to spring us forth into action to
effectively change paradigms, parameters, and the outworn "paragons of
virtue" , so that ecologists can develop integrated systems of sustainable
development, rather than merely "entrappers of metaphor" [copyright 1988)*
