If it is as you say because women do a better job than men, then how is it
unfair to employ them over men? I still think that environment and culture
are larger determinants than biology and this is why I believe that we have
to address the cultural issues, and not get hung up on minute biological
differences.
>As for modes of address, I would point out -when you've finished

But surely the point is to address ppl as they see is polite. Ie by their
sig. Particularly on this multicultural format. You might find it better
to use my patriarchal surname which only shows who my father is and nothing
about me, but I find this particularly insulting.
.. You caught me out in a gender inconsistency in this

You said that you thought my concern was trivial. I hardly call this an
opoloy. You also did as you say above, and continued to address me in a
manner I find offensive. Again hardly an apology. Perhaps you mean
apology in the Platonian sense? (That is sarcasm).
I will, of course, call you anything
>you like, if you insist, but I would ask you to work a bit harder

Oh, you are so great. KCMG. Does everyone know what this means? Kindly
call me god. Well, how absolutely typically male. I hardly need to work
hard to call you sexist, which i have not. I simply point out what you do
as sexist. There is a difference. Are you saying that I should not point
out sexist practices here for fear of hurting some poor male ego. As you
have signed with something that certainly smells of poor male ego.
