|Assuming that by "oppressive,patriarchal activity" we mean the assertion of a |dominant, hierarchical structure of rights or utility by those with power over |those without it, I can't think of anything more oppressive or patriarchal... I think "oppressive, patriarchal activity" must be defined as a MALE dominant, hierarchical structure . . . due to the term "patriarchal" being in the center. Abortion, to me then is not patriarchal for if a woman is choosing something for her body, is she being (male) dominated by this system?
