The Wisconsin State Women's Studies 22nd Annual Conference will be held Oct
23-25, 1997 here in La Crosse, Wisconsin and the Planning Committee is
gathering names of keynote speakers on Environmental Racism.
The title of the conference is: Making Environmental Connections: Women,
Communities and the Land.
If you are interested or know someone who would be excellent, please send
name, address, telephone, email or fax information so we might chat further.
Carolyn Merchant and Joni Seager will do keynote speeches also.
[ Winona La Duke has spoken at our conference for the past two years, in
case that name comes to mind--we love her, but would like to hear other voices.]
