Has anyone thought about what they do in India? they give incentives to
men to have their vas deferens cut which is such a simple and effective way
of limiting population. Why not apply this across the board?
I am in no way suggesting hysterectomy for women as this has health
ramifications for women. The simplest, most effective and least damaging
to all concerned is to give vasectomy to the men.
As for punishment in China, I really don't understand why after the first
child is born the men aren't given vasectomies. I know that they worry
whether that one child will survive but even so.
About the necessity to lower the population in China try reading Jung
Chang's auto/biography of her own and her mother and grandmothers lives in
China. It gives a good picture of the level of poverty where there simply
is not enough food due to overpopulation. Sorry I can't recall the title
but it is a recent best seller and I am sure the book shop could tell you.
