As I note in my Feminism and the Net primer ( http://www.eskimo.com/~feminist/nownetin.html ), the best way to handle most flame mail of this type is to send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] - in this case [EMAIL PROTECTED] - it is best if you Forward (not Reply) the email there and note that you expect them to do something. Some people have also suggested that sending long DIGESTs and public domain data also works, but that wouldn't be nice. If someone is getting 800 emails, they should try to get the DIGEST version of a mailing list (such as my mailing lists, PNWNOW-LEG and PNWNOW-GEN) instead. Usually a command such as SET MAIL ECOFEM DIGEST (sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ) will do it. If you're not sure how, send the command HELP or INFO to the originator.
