|SUNY/Buffalo, Department of Philosophy, seeks an
assistant/associate professor specializing in bioethics/medical ethics,
with competence in research ethics, for a tenure-track position.
Competence in metaphysics/ontology, especially applied ontology, is also
desirable.  Two courses each semester, graduate and undergraduate.  Duties
include serving as Department liaison with medical school, and regularly
organizing/teaching university-wide graduate seminar on research ethics,
in collaboration with faculty in science departments.
|Applicants must have PhD at time of appointment, and must show
strong evidence of research productivity.
|Candidates should submit by November 7, 1997, a letter of
