Dear Chris,
I am interested in learning more about this conference. I am co-editor
with Irene Diamond of REWEAVING THE WORLD; THE EMERGENCE OF ECOFEMINISM. I
know that she contacted you on my recommendation--having read your call on
the Internet. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Irene has been to
Israel many times, and is very involved in the themes you are dealing with.
I am interested in spirituality--affirming the 'reality' of the spirit world.
I can send you some writings of my spiritual journey via snail mail. All
best, Gloria Orenstein.

Chris,
I agree with you, this a catastrophe. If you have a plan that everyone
can participate in in some way, please specify specific actions. This is
the trouble for the great multitude out there: everyone is confronted
with some pretty horific facts of life out there, but no-one knows what
to do about it, and then the next commercial break comes and everyone
forgets.
Now, at this time, what people need is specific, down to earth steps
they can take in order to address the problems of the world: New Age
mysticism can be engaging for those who are seeking, but for those of us
who have found our path to truth and beauty and don't want to delve into
your reality would really like basic concrete suggestions that can be
acted upon, apart from "send us money". For instance, a petition to
sign, a place and time to gather and protest...
You really seem to have your finger on the pulse of the world's
disasters. You should nurture that, find someone who knows how to put it
to concrete purpose, to gather people as one into a vocal crowd, with a
chant and a slogan...
do you hear what I'm saying?
Lee.
