Attempting to bridge theory and research, _Left History_ features articles from a variety of theoretical perspectives, including feminist, marxist and postmodernist. We seek submissions on topics such as race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality, culture, the state, the environment, theory and method. Articles, review essays, interview proposals, and other work should be submitted in triplicate to the Editors, _Left History_, Department of History, York University, 4700 Keele Street, Toronto, Ontario, M3J 1P3, Canada. _Left History_ is published twice a year on acid free paper, perfect bound in a laminated colour cover, and contains between 160 and 200 pages.
