if you would like to be in on the most exciting art project of the century, get involved in the 24 Hour Community Spacewalk in San Francisco, from your location (wherever that may be). Last October 25-26 we brought together 300 artists over 63 blocks of the Mission District in San Francisco to create a 25 hour (due to daylight savings) spectacle that involved mobile art pieces, parades (sculptured non-motorized vehicles, and a 3am tip toe parade), a 26 foot mural, a 40 foot bed to crash out in a vacant lot and watch '50's dissection films; and a 25 hour long soap opera involving the Paparazzi Posse, and Norma Jean McArtstarr called 'Warrior Girl's Hollywood Fame." All of the artists donated food for a "Stone Soup Reception" that fed the homeless after the event. We are doing it again, in the Financial District of San Francisco. We are looking to fund MOBILE, COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS. After this happens here again, we will be booking speaking engagements and touring all over the country to help you create your own Spacewalk. You can help bring your community together, as artists, scientists, students, women, men, and business people. Everyone is invited! In The Financial District, our plan is for artists to teach collaboration workshops, public art, and team building in local offices during the time that leads up to the event. We NEED Funding.
