I most certainly think that not only is your academic freedom being
threatened here, as Glynis stated, but the fact that this professor is
teaching the class in a very narrow manner. I think it will be a very
difficult challenge to be a strong woman in that class and hear your proff
say that sort of thing. You might want to ask around to the other students
and see if there are others who feel the same way.
