-- wet cleaning is better if you can find it...I quit buying clothes that
need to be dry cleaned at all, and that is a better solution yet. Some
clothes marked "dry clean only" can be washed with a gentle cycle, using a
mild detergent (like Woolite, not that this is a commercial).
I also throw my winter coat, and the kids ski jackets in the wash...so I use
dry cleaning (or the "wet" alternative) as little as possible.
For the moment, until green cleaning is available, that seems the best
solutuion.
