Here's a socio-political solution:
Form a constructive political liaison between women and non-violent
ecosystemic men. This both teaches all the males at once to behave and
provides a consensus majority for sustainable peace, between women and the
men who have any sense.
Feminism, as a reaction of solidarity against the patriarchy, works
primarily through sisterhood, rather than fertility. This leaves the male
cooperators out of the picture and is partially dissonant with the shared
gender identity of family life, splitting the females. Fertility is a wider
consensus embracing the empowerment of women in conjunction with supportive
men. It is wide enough to be culturally formative, as it was 'in the
beginning', sociobiologically.
Fertility is not just the 'domain of the Goddess'. It is a mutually
creative relationship which brings out the multi-dimensionality in both
genders. When Sheba courts Solomon she says: "As a lilly among thorns, so
is my love among the daughters." In doing so, she is stepping back from
her vigilant 'sisters' and approaching the male groom in his full dimension
as her complement "Thou art beautiful, O my love, ... terrible as an army
with banners." This is no mere sexual fawn, but a fully-fleged engagement
- sexual, spiritual, cultural and of the sheer unfolding of fertility
itself: "Thy teeth are as a flock of sheep ... every one beareth twins and
there is not one barren one among them."
"Fertility is the missing consensus for sustainability."
The media are busy of course indoctrinating all females in sight with male
bravado fantasies of sexuality. Maybe if the 'sisters' spent a concerted
effort whispering in their 'daughters' ears that the most utterly consuming
passionate sex and the nicest kids come from resourceful male cooperators,
not necessarily their 'husband', but certainly a non-violent cooperator,
rather than a randy, muscle-bound bully-boy defector with a fast car and a
handgun?
Androtoxic paradox:
The androgenic basis of violence has been thrown into disarray by a recent
New Scientist article which suggests that growth of emotional areas of the
brain are, in both sons and daughters, encoded by the paternal genes, which
have different imprinting through methylation of DNA. By contrast and to
the father's chagrin, cortical development may be organized by the maternal
genes.

My youngest son and my eldest daughter both found this article uncanny,
since the three of us are equally argumentative. We each gave one another
an awful look of dawning recognition, but not an androtoxic one.
Nurture of course strongly complements nature. The homicide charts noted
the strong effect of culture, especially US violence. Detroit is 40 times
more violent than 'England and Wales' in terms of homicide, but in each
case men are 30 times more likely than women. So culture, education and the
love ethic are at least as significant in healing the rift as any genetic
factors.
