Well let me tell you what I ask Cliff Kincade when he was here last
October.
If the water comes from Canada into the U.S., what stops Canada saying, "It
is not U.S. water, you have no right to say what happens to it." I did not get
a response. Have ask it of other high level speakers etc. & they look stunned
& worse, that a woman ask the question. Arent women supposed to have
thinkers???? Mary Page

U.S. pares endangered species list
The Clinton administration announced Wednesday that the bald eagle and =
28 other species of animals and plants have made a comeback from =
near-extinction and will be removed from the U.S. endangered species =
list. The species range from the peregrine falcon and gray wolf to the =
more obscure Pahrump poolfish and the Missouri bladder-pod plant. The 17 =
animals and 12 plants will be removed from the endangered list over the =
next two years, subject to final approval by federal biologists. =
Officials are calling it the biggest "delisting" since the Endangered =
Species Act (ESA) was adopted 25 years ago. See =

Moroccan groups call for prostitution inquiry
Moroccan women's and human rights groups have called for an inquiry into =
enforced prostitution after a victim escaped naked from a brothel. =
Khadija Bahi, 20, fled from a brothel in the Moroccan town of El Hajeb, =
where she said she had been forced into prostitution five years ago. "We =
hope that our petition will pressure the authorities to put an end to =
forced prostitution for girls as young as 13," Mohamed El Boukili, a =
spokesman for the Moroccan Human Rights Association, said Wednesday. A =
group of 13 associations released a joint statement Tuesday expressing =
anger at case and calling for an investigation. (Reuters)
